I am running office professional plus on WYSE terminal and remote desktop instances. Recently i have been seeing The Operation Failed message when i try to send an email with an attachment.
This is happening on multiple different terminals and users. It is random. I have tried outolok add in's that could affect the types of files being sent which are adobe and office files. What we've done to test:. When sent to cached mode, it works fine but we don't want to do this. Same case I am experiencing with one of our tenants.
Initially with just forwarding emails, with and without attachments, but now affecting replies as well. It's weird because it seems like a client side dending, but not. I have setup an affected account on a known working Microsift installation and confirmed the issue persists.
The issue appears to revolve around the drafts folder, once something hit's it, it can no longer be sent from mjcrosoft although OWA will still send it.
Disabling the auto save feature prevents the item hitting the drafts folder and items are sending fine. Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community. I have two tenants experiencing the same issue through VDI as well. I updated windows, adobe, and office in hopes to help with the problem however it has not helped.
